Need To Know

At Feel SOMA, Fascial Mobility is a cornerstone innovation in human movement preparation (priming), conditioning and recovery.

Simply put, mobility is a necessity for improved movement, injury prevention, priming (preparing) your tissues for exercise and physical challenges, enhancing sporting performance, decreasing potential for pain in your body and encouraging lymphatic and blood circulation for optimal tissue health.

Now for the technical blah, blah!

Fascia is a common term in various philosophies and exercise however it is often misunderstood. It is not just connective tissue — it surrounds, supports and communicates with every other tissue in the body. Highly neurally dense, it plays a critical role in how we sense, adapt and perform. Understanding how to positively influence fascia is essential to achieving sustainable movement health.

This library introduces a series of guided experiences using simple yet powerful tools — body weight, sticks, and bands — designed to prime and restore fascial tissue in an integrated, safe and innovative way. These applications support fluid flow, neural response and mechanical patterns, making them both effective and non-threatening for any individual.

For decades, flexibility training relied on static, dynamic, active and isometric stretching, or methods such as PNF. While not wrong, these approaches often focused only on muscle length. Fascial Mobility takes a more inclusive view: before asking a tissue to “do something,” we must first understand what type of tissue we are working with and how it communicates.

Remember, fascia, muscle and nerves are around 70% water. Every contraction, stretch or compression shifts fluid, pushing it out of tissues before refilling with new fluid upon release. This cycle is vital to tissue health, recovery and performance.

By priming tissue before activity and restoring it afterwards, Fascial Mobility empowers you to move with greater efficiency, resilience and longevity.
