Program Overview

Golf Priming is essential for the short game, preparing your body for the precision, rhythm and flow required in Pitch and Putt. This program emphasises the seamless connection of tissues from toes to nose, ensuring your entire body—from feet to hands—communicates effectively to enhance performance.

At Feel SOMA, we focus on tissue sequencing through specific movement patterns that integrate mental, physical and emotional readiness. This holistic method primes the body’s intricate systems, creating better coordination, improved control, and a deeper sense of awareness. It’s more than physical preparation—it’s about aligning body and mind to optimise performance, reduce injury risk and improve enjoyment of the game.

Programme Details

  • Duration: 10 – 15 minutes

  • Flow: Follow the Preparation section, performing movements on both sides. Repeat the more restricted side if needed.

  • SFM – Self Fascial Mobilisers: Dynamic, golf-specific movements (45–60 seconds each) to prime tissues for game forces—these are not stretches.

Guidelines

  • Breathe throughout to support flow and adaptation

  • Keep speed and force low—avoid pushing movements

  • Use the videos for guidance until confident to self-prime
